I'm Natalie. For 29 years I struggled with heroin and crack use and was involved in crime, with social services also involved in my children's lives. I've now been clean for three years, and I have a strong sense of purpose in my life today.
Before working at Lindale, I worked for Seasons Rehabilitation Centre, mainly supporting women. My lived experience has given me a deep understanding of the challenges people face and a wealth of knowledge that helps me support others with compassion, empathy, and care.
What drives me is remembering how lost and alone I once felt. if I can help even one person feel less alone or make their life more manageable, then I know im doing something meaningful. My recovery wisdom is that consistency and patience are key.
