support

Although our service is abstinence based, we accept residents who are prescribed Opioid substitute medication. Our team will fully support them through a reduction plan so they can eventually achieve abstinence.

At Lindale Recovery Service, we work closely with recovery coordinators at CGL to achieve this as part of our rehabilitation service. Unlike other recovery organisations we are wiling to accept clients on certain prescribed medication. We recognise that it is difficult for clients to get to a point of complete abstinence and this can be a barrier to finding a suitable treatment venue. Our aim is to work with these clients in conjunction with local community drug and alcohol services with a goal of reducing their medication to a point of becoming abstinent. We also recognise certain medications can be an essential component for mental health care especially when supporting dual diagnosed clients.

"I believe that everyone should have the chance to recover and to live their best life"
