Christmas Day was full of warmth, connection and support. Some of our incredible residents came together to cook a delicious Christmas lunch, creating a space of togetherness for those who came. It was a reminder of the strength and compassion within our community - supporting each other through what can be a difficult day for many. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special. Your kindness and effort brought laughter and joy to so many. Here's the power of community and looking out for one another.
Over cups of tea we gathered together for 'Tea & Talk', we opened up conversations about Mental Health, creating space for connection, understanding and support. Allowing us to pause, reflect and most importantly share the feelings and challenges we all face big or small. These conversations are at the heart of our community!

"We are way more capable then we give ourselves credit for"
"I struggle with my metal health, I find peace in yoga"
I will never forget that day in March 2015 when Caitlin was sitting with me on the bed and she started crying, I asked her what was wrong and she told me that she had been using class A drugs, heroin and crack cocaine. I could not believe what I was hearing, I felt physically sick. When I got over the initial shock all I wanted to do was to help her in any way that I could.
I knew Caitlin had issues with prescription meds and used to change GP surgeries so that she could get more but never would I have thought that she would have turned to heroin or crack!
A huge appreciation to Steven for his powerful share at our Unity Day.
After being through the service himself and now working for CGL he has quite the inspirational story!
Emma changed it up and did Drum and Bounce at our Unity day. It was a hit!
Emma facilitates regular Yoga workshops with the residents during their initial 12 week period.
Our debut tournament and we made it to the semi finals! Well done lads - you did us proud.
